Details
CE certified hearing protection made for UK shooting: clay grounds, game days and the range. EGGZ Shoot uses an impulse filter that stays open when it's quiet, so you hear the pull call, your instructor and the birds, then cuts the peak of a gunshot by up to 33dB.
Natural hearing between shots. An air passage to the ear keeps sound natural and directional, so you know where birds, beaters and other guns are.
Out of the way. Small and low profile, so nothing catches the stock when you mount. On the rifle range, wear them under ear defenders.
A fit for everyone. Medium and large tips in the box, small and XL free on request. Made from medical-grade, hypoallergenic TPE and reusable.
In the box: 2 medium eartips, 2 large eartips, a cord and a container.

Gunshot noise
One shot can be enough.
A shotgun can hit around 140dB at your ear, and larger-calibre rifles go past 175dB. Above 140dB, hearing damage can happen from a single shot, and it adds up over every clay round, drive and range session. Once it's gone, it doesn't come back.
Peak noise of a single shot
Sound pressure at the ear, without ear protection.
Source: American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, recreational firearm noise. Shotgun figure shown as the upper level for shotguns, .22s and air rifles; larger rifles can exceed 175dB.
Open when it's quiet
Low reduction between shots, so you hear the pull call, your instructor, your loader and the birds coming over.
Certified to shut down the bang
CE certified hearing protection. The impulse filter reacts to the sudden peak of a shot, cutting it by up to 33dB.
Keep your sense of direction
An air passage to the ear keeps sounds natural, so you can tell where birds, beaters and other guns are.
Won't get in your mount
Small and low profile, so nothing catches the stock. Wear them under ear defenders on the rifle range.
Fit them in 10 seconds
A snug seal lets the filter do its job when the gun goes off.
Pick your size
Start with the medium tips. If they feel loose, switch to large. Small and XL are free on request.
Pull and twist
Reach over your head, gently pull the top of your ear up and back, then twist the plug in.
Check before you shoot
It should feel snug and you should still hear voices clearly. Clip the cord on so they're never lost on the stand.

Shooting questions
Are they certified hearing protection?
Yes. EGGZ Shoot is CE certified hearing protection, with an impulse filter that cuts gunshot peaks by up to 33dB.
How does the impulse filter work?
When it's quiet, the filter lets sound through with very little reduction, so you hear everything around you. When a shot fires, the sudden pressure peak is cut by up to 33dB before it reaches your ear.
Will I still hear the pull call and my instructor?
Yes. Between shots, voices and the sounds around you come through naturally, so you don't need to take them out to talk.
Are they for clay, game or rifle shooting?
They're made for clay grounds and game days. On the rifle range, especially indoors or with larger calibres, wear them under ear defenders for extra protection.
Will they get in the way of my gun mount?
No. They're small and sit inside your ear, so there's nothing to catch on the stock, a cap or a hat.
What if they don't fit?
Medium and large tips come in the box. Need small or XL? Get in touch and we'll send them out free. Every order is also covered by our 30-day money-back guarantee.
How do I look after them?
Rinse the tips in cold water, let them dry and keep them in the container in your gun bag. The cord keeps the pair together on the stand.
