Reusable hearing protection for noisy work: building sites, road works, machine shops, workshops and farms. EGGZ Construction cuts noise by 25dB while letting speech and the sounds around you through, so you're protected and can still talk to your team.

Comfortable all shift. A membrane filter with sound-damping mesh keeps an air passage to the ear, so it feels less blocked-up than foam, and the low-profile fit works under a hard hat and with safety glasses.

A fit for everyone. Medium and large tips come in the box, with small and XL free on request. Every pair is acoustically tested.

In the box: 2 medium eartips, 2 large eartips and a carry container.

Noise at work

Everyday site work goes past the legal limit.

Under the UK Control of Noise at Work Regulations, hearing protection must be provided once daily noise exposure reaches 85dB. HSE figures show plenty of everyday site jobs go well past that. Noise damage builds up shift after shift and can't be reversed.

Typical daily noise on site

Average daily noise exposure by task, without hearing protection.

Cut 25dB

Takes site noise down a big step, whether you're cutting, drilling or labouring.

Still hear your team

Talk to colleagues, hear the radio and catch warnings without pulling them out.

Comfortable all shift

The membrane filter lets air through to the ear, so they feel less blocked-up over a long day.

Works with your PPE

Low profile, so they sit comfortably under a hard hat and alongside safety glasses.

Fit them in 10 seconds

A good seal is what does the protecting. Takes seconds, even with gloves off on a break.

1

Pick your size

Start with the medium tips. If they feel loose or the noise doesn't drop, switch to large.

2

Pull and twist

Reach over your head, gently pull the top of your ear up and back, then twist the plug in.

3

Check the seal

It should feel snug and the noise should drop straight away. Use the tab to pull them out.

Work questions

Can I wear them under a hard hat?

Yes. They sit inside your ear, so they work with a hard hat, safety glasses and hi-vis hoods.

Will I still hear colleagues and alarms?

Yes. The filter takes the harsh noise down while speech and the sounds around you still come through, so you stay aware on site.

How much noise do they block?

They reduce noise by 25dB.

When do I need hearing protection at work?

Under the UK Control of Noise at Work Regulations, employers must make hearing protection available once daily exposure reaches 80dB, and provide it at 85dB. A rough guide from HSE: if you have to shout to talk to someone 2m away, it's probably 85dB or more.

What if they don't fit?

Medium and large tips come in the box. Need small or XL? Get in touch and we'll send them out free. Every order is also covered by our 30-day money-back guarantee.

Can I buy for my whole team?

Yes. The 2, 3 and 6 packs save up to 24%. For bigger orders, get in touch and we'll sort you out.

How do I clean them?

Take the filters out, rinse the tips in cold water (a drop of washing-up liquid helps), let them dry and store them in the container.
